LCAS’ fully certified (Supplemental Type Certificate) auxiliary fuel tank system has a total capacity of 103 US gallons and a usable capacity of 100 US gallons.

This modification involves the addition of a removable cabin mounted enclosed tank with sealed pump assembly and the cockpit mounted controls and indicators. The system is completely vented and sumped externally on the airframe. The Cessna 208/208B has two main fuel tanks located in each wing (left and right) and a small reservoir tank located under the cabin floor in forward fuselage. The total fuel capacity of 335.6 US gallons and a useable fuel capacity of the main tanks is 332 US gallons. With the addition of the LCAS auxiliary fuel tank, it allows operators an extended range for survey operations and/or ferry flights.
