This modification involves the installation of a series of Anchra anchor plates on the fuselage top side on DC-3 BT-67 aircraft. The anchor plates will run along the length of the fuselage and will be used by ground crew to attach the lanyards of their safety harnesses when working on top of the aircraft.

The anchor plates will be located on the top of the fuselage at the intersection of fuselage frames and the center longeron or stringer comprising part of the center rail structure inside the fuselage. The anchor plates are secured so that one fastener will tie into the frame and the other the stringer/longeron.

The anchor plates will remain permanently on the fuselage, and will have a negligible impact on aircraft performance and flight characteristics.
