The LCAS nose mounted atmospheric scoop is designed provide aircraft operators the ability to airborne air quality survey operations.

The modification involves the installation of a composite nose mounted atmospheric air Scoop on Piper PA-31 series aircraft. The approved design is intended to be eligible for installation on any Piper PA-31 Navajo series aircraft certified under Type Certificate A20SO, Revision 12, by issue of Transport Canada Serialized LSTC.
