This modification consists of installing the LCA01917 exhaust system on a LA-250 series Lake Aircraft. All exhaust system parts fit the IO-540 engine in the same manner with same procedures as the original exhaust system.

The exhaust system is equipped with a muffler which exits out of the STBD forward side of cowling in same location the Turbo LA-270 exhaust exits. The design of the exhaust pipes duplicates the Turbo LA-270 exhaust pipes and come forward to a muffler versus a turbo charger unit.

The muffler unit is manufactured to look like a heat exchanger for cabin heat with outer heat shield, this is to force air through the heat exchanger and cool the radiant heat of the muffler.
