Overview

C-FYOG is a great 180 hp LA-4! The Buccaneer designator began in the 1970 Model Year with the 200 hp fuel injected version…with a much heavier airframe! Everybody calls the 180’s Buccaneers anyway! Those in the know appreciate the 180 carburetted LA-4’s for being light and nimble performers! They are also much easier on fuel, so you make your 40 gallons of AVGAS go further! Roughly speaking, the 0-360 engine uses about 15 to 20% less fuel that the 200 hp Buccaneer, but it gets out of the water just as fast, or faster, and cruises faster on less fuel! The fastest LAKE we’ve ever flown is C-FAXG, another LA-4 on our website, with 180 hp. 12 second take-offs are very common! So is 125 to 127 mph cruise

C-FYOG is a turn-key fly away LAKE Aircraft that needs some avionics work. For many, the most basic panel and radio is fine. The sky’s the limit for those who want to go “full avionics upgrade! (Again, see C-FAXG on our site to see what can be done today!)

If you are looking for a solid, well-equipped, well cared-for LAKE with a low Total Airframe Time and low engine and prop times, then you need to look at C-FYOG soon! Call Lake Central today!
